Kindly Support to Independent Living of Person with Disabilities

Many people think that a person with disabilities (PWD) should live in an organization, such as a disabled home. But, we believe that PWDs should live in society as we are a part of this community. We believe, a proper aids, support system and friendly environment will make them live an independent living.

Society of Independent Living For The Disabled Selangor was founded by a group of disabled people, for the aims to help other disabled to live independently in community. We provide peer counseling, independent living skill training and support to what they need. Besides that, we play the role as pioneer to push to concept of barrier-free, and, to removes all the obstacles and unfair laws that stop them to be independent.

Our monthly expenses included rental, salary, electricity, activities expenses, trainer subsidy and general expenses, it costs about RM 10,000 per month. Kindly request your support and donation, be with us to help disabled people to achieve independent living.
